What made you want to choose The One Glove above others?
I feel like I've joined a quickly emerging brand with an incredible reputation and the gloves are right up there. I've also seen first hand how they interact and have time for keepers which is always nice to see.
You've had the opportunity to wear, trial and test all of our models. What model will you be wearing next season? And why?
I'll be wearing the Pulse. They're very comfortable so they really hit the spot while looking great too. My ones are actually in a white and black colour way that's not out yet but you guys are releasing them as part of next seasons range so I'm looking forward to other keepers getting their hands on them.
Do you have any pre-game rituals or routines? How do you prepare and why?
I just ensure that I get a good nights sleep and I also keep my little girls sock down my footballs socks during the game for good luck!
Other than Blackburn of course, who do you support/follow?
Ever since I played for Portsmouth I have been a fan, so I always watch out for their results.
Outside of football what do you like to do?
I have a young family that I spend time with and I also play a lot of pool and golf.
What advice would you give to aspiring keepers trying to make it in the professional world?
Simply to believe in your own ability and don't give up. Having that drive makes the difference.
Was there a particular goalkeeper that inspired you growing up? If so, who and why?
I always looked up to Shay Given. He has been very consistent as a goalkeeper over the long career he has had.
What has been your most memorable game or experience as a keeper and why?
My most memorable experience has to be playing Liverpool in the FA Cup Quarter Finals where I was so close to scoring.
You had quite the turn and crack at goal in the dying minutes which very nearly took you through to extra time. What was going through your mind as you controlled the ball and let fly?
In that moment I didn't really think. I just tried to get the shot away as quickly as possible and hit the target. All it needed was a little deflection or luck to score! Unfortunately Mignolet made a good save and it wasn't to be.
