Born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, Amos began his career with Crewe Alexandra's youth academy and joined Manchester United at the age of 11. He has also played for Bolton Wanderers and has spent time on loan at Peterborough, Molde, and Oldham. Amos is also an England youth international, having represented his country at every level from Under-16 to Under-21.
