Bio

Cameron Plain has progressed through the AFC Bournemouth academy ranks since joining the club in 2018. He regularly trained with the first team and was named in many matchday squads as the third keeper. During his scholarship, Plain gained valuable game time while on work-experience loans with Ringwood Town, Bashley and Wimborne Town. A string of impressive appearances led to an invite to train with the England under-18 and under-19 goalkeepers at St George’s Park. But now, the 19-year-old is aiding the club’s goalkeeping department as backup to Mark Travers in the Premier League.
