Hoefsloot developed through the Sydney FC academy after starting at Helensburgh Thistles, making his senior debut in the club’s NPL side at just 16. He signed with Sydney FC’s first team in 2023 and later secured a long-term contract extension until 2028. 

At international level, he has represented Australia at youth level, including the U20 team, highlighting his potential as one of the country’s emerging goalkeeping talents.
