Tyler Miller is known for his shot-stopping ability and experience across both Major League Soccer and English football. 

Miller began his career in the United States with college side Northwestern Wildcats before moving into the professional game via the Seattle Sounders FC system, where he also featured for their reserve side (now Tacoma Defiance). He gained further experience in Germany with SVN Zweibrücken early in his career.

He rose to prominence in MLS with Los Angeles FC, where he established himself as a regular starter, before spells with Minnesota United FC and D.C. United. 

In 2025, Miller moved to England, joining Notts County, before signing for Bolton Wanderers later that year. 

As of January 2026, he returned to MLS to play for Charlotte FC, signing a contract running until 2028.
